Lauren M. Papp received her Ph.D. in developmental and counseling psychology (2005) from Notre Dame, where she focused her research on investigating family relationship. She completed a clinical psychology internship at Northwestern University. Since 2006, Lauren has been Assistant Professor in Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she teaches courses on Couples Relationships, Family Stress & Coping, and Research Methods. Her current research projects examine the link between intimate relationship functioning and individual well-being. In this presentation she will speak to Family Foundations home visitors about how couple conflict impacts the child and how the presence of a child may impact couple conflict. Home visitors will gain insight into couple conflict and family stress and coping.
